Poppy Pods and a Scattering of Seeds

When your garden gives you the best inspiration…I will never cease to be amazed by how tiny seeds can grow into huge flowers taller than me! If you know me in real life, you know that’s not saying much because I am so short, BUT these tiny seeds scattered over mulch around New Year’s Eve popped up into these Gigantic Hungarian Breadseed Poppies 5.5 feet tall last Mother’s Day! They were so whimsical blowing gently in the breeze, but I actually love the pods even more than the flowers, so now I have an arrangement of pods in a crock on my coffee table. 

Gardening is the most amazing lesson for life…the tiniest seeds can grow into massive things when given the right conditions, good or bad. Every thought, every action is a seed. May we water things that are everlasting and matter for eternity.
